   I'm on Win7.   
      
   Maybe your profile is older than the internal pdf.js viewer.   
      
   In Preferences->Browser->Helper Applications->PDF   
   the default is "default" (internal viewer).   
      
   For 99% of the PDFs the internal pdf.js viewer is fine (and more safe).
