   Current SM is about FF v60ies ca. 2018.   
      
   DNS over HTTPS in FF was rolled out later, ca. 2019.   
      
   I don't believe DoH is "much faster" than the   
   OS's UDP DNS query.   
      
   The traffic is encrypted but the USA (now a fascist country)   
   provider sees all your requests anyway.   
      
   Better give my UDP DNS traffic to my ISP.
