Well, I tried .... the list of names is still empty (not even       > mine shows) .... and each time I post, I'm told "#SeaMonkey Cannot       > send to nick/channel" .... whatever that means.              Did you try to join again afterwards? With +r, you are barred from       joining, but ChatZilla retains the view open (probably good, as       otherwise you'd not see the message about needing to be registered and       identified). And even if registered and identified, that is what you get       when you try to message the channel without having joined (because of a       separate mode, +n -- this is a thing because in IRC you don't have to be       in a channel to send a message to it).                            If joining again (issuing "/JOIN #SeaMonkey" or right click on the tab       and choosing "Rejoin #SeaMonkey") doesn't work, I was going to say that       I don't recall whether the registration command also authenticates or if       you have to issue IDENTIFY separately, or whether the e-mail validation       code is required for this. But frg has just removed the +r mode from the       channel, so right now it should work again even without identifying to       NickServ.              --       Nuno Silva              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
