You can recover completely after a disaster, albeit with some       > work to do. :)              Extensions in the profile will have their XPIs there, under       "extensions/", IIRC. Some may use an alphanumeric identifier instead of       their name, but you can see the mapping in about:support.              And yes, it's a good idea to keep copies of extensions, even just so       that you have a copy of what you installed, in case there is, for some       reason, some change not present in another release, even with similar or       the same version number.                     (There might be, BTW, a scenario where installation (or rather,       initialization on the first SeaMonkey startup after the extension has       been installed) may silently fail under Windows NT, I think if the       source of the XPI is seen as a network share.)              --       Nuno Silva              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
