   The 0.7.3.1 version on CP's site with "fx+sm" in the filename works for   
   me with the latest Linux 32-bit SM (.21) once it's been told about   
   recent SM versions. You can run it through the Add-on converter at   
    to get a working version; so   
   it's just the installation metadata being pessimistic and not the core   
   code failing.   
      
   Whereas with PrefBar as you describe the installation metadata is too   
   optimistic, incorrectly claiming compatibility with newer SM versions.
