   The Restore option that alexyu and the rest of us want exists: it's   
   Edit>Undelete Message, mapped to Ctrl+Z; but it works with local trash,   
   and not with (eg) IMAP folders where the deleted message is moved to   
   another IMAP folder.   
      
   For that case use Paul's solution above, or equivalently use Move To   
   from the message's context menu if D'n'D-challenged (say, using an   
   unreliable touchpad).
