   After your original suggestion, I tested it (as I said):  The deleted   
   message was in the "Local / Trash" folder, and there were the usual   
   options to 'Move To... / Copy To...', but none to "Undelete Message", if   
   that's what you meant -- but that seems quite enough to me, since it   
   allows exactly that result (copying or moving the deleted message back   
   to its original folder). BTW, I suppose a "Compact Folder" on the one   
   where the delete and reinstatement have happened, to keep things neat (I   
   usually do that).   
      
   What I didn't understand in the previous message was the statement that   
   "Edit > Undelete Message, mapped to Ctrl+Z, exists", since I don't see   
   exactly that option anywhere -- but, again, that's just curiosity, since   
   my need has been resolved by your suggestion; thanks again.

   I was fixated on the word "delete", and not on the actual action...
