   I'm a big fan of Rufus for its ability to format or 'clean up' USBs   
   better than any similar tool. I would try formatting the disk w/ rufus   
   and then if you want to check your USB installer, it might work properly.   
      
   If Rufus can't handle a funky USB, I try to use some other tool to zero it.   
      
   I notice that a number of recent updates to the UU installer are related   
   to mitigate its compatibility 'problems' w/ Ventoy.   
      
   In the past, my #1 USB tool was Rufus; nowadays it is Ventoy, and I only   
   use Rufus when I can't do something w/ Rufus.
