   I'm a fan of booting live linux distro/s w/ persistence, which   
   persistence comes in various 'forms'.   
      
   I like the persistence of MX/Anti-X, Puppy & EasyOS, and mkusb/dus; I   
   don't really care for the type of persistence afforded by 'straight'   
   ventoy or Rufus.  That persistence only allows some 'storage'.   
      
   Ventoy CAN be 'induced' to participate in/ facilitate/ booting the good   
   kind of persistence of MX & Pup/Easy via their own mechanisms off the   
   Ventoy F6 boot option called 'ExMenu' or secondary boot menu.   
      
   The good persistence enables persisting changes to the system. My faves   
   of the ones I like in terms of convenience are Puppy & Easy; my fave of   
   'varieties' of persistence are AntiX/MX.
