   What is the most popular newsgroup for general discussion about Linux?   
      
   I'd like to begin the process of moving away from Windows. To that end,   
   I intend to set up one of my computers with one of the distros. Then I   
   need to begin the process of either finding a way to make Windows   
   compatible software run with Wine on that OS or else find alternatives   
   that will run natively.   
      
   In order to do this, I need to be able to ask questions with people who   
   run Linux, and finding the most popular newsgroup for that topic is the   
   first step.
