   You forget to mention the one about the dumb American tourist who   
   pontificates why Windsor Castle was built under Heathrows flight path.   
   Amusing, however a myth.   
      
   So....If Americans are so dumb, my Northern friend why are eight out of the   
   Top Ten  Universities American? With highly acclaimed Oxford (UK) coming in   
   at a lowly no.8 what does that say about the UK education system?   
      
   Those who believe Americans are dumb, because that fits the (ignorant)   
   stereotype should take a good look at themselves. The USA consists of 50   
   States with a population of around 300 million. Compare that to the EU 450   
   million and the UK 60 million and i think you will agree that your comment   
   "not a spoof, totally accurate" because "another guy thought Scotland was a   
   small island of the coast of argentina" slightly ill conceived and highly   
   patronising. Not to mention incredibly DUMB.
