   I think they are connected.  Rainforests are being cleared for   
   agriculture.  Even if other lands are being used for ethanol, that   
   production is shifting food growth to the new lands.   
      
   Presumably with some research it should be possible to find plants   
   that will grow on marginal land, without irrigation, with high ethanol   
   production.
