   I never said that it was. If you are not lying here, cite the specific post   
   in which I claimed that, with a link to it.   
      
   Thermite is iron oxide plus metallic aluminum. When ignited, the reaction   
   oxidizes the aluminum and yields white hot molten iron. Thermate is thermite   
   plus sulfur, and perhaps another ingredient or two. The additives make it   
   easier to ignite and render it capable of being formed, as around a steel   
   column for purposes of cutting through it. The thermate is not explosive but   
   highly incendiary, generating white hot molten iron that melts through the   
   steel in proximity with it. In controlled demolition, as in the three   
   collapsed WTC buildings, it is used together with high explosive "kicker"   
   charges. Once the thermate has melted through the steel supporting column,   
   which it does quickly, the charge is detonated to completely sever the   
   column. This is most likely how the three WTC buildings were brought down.   
   Of course you will say the plane impacts did that, but no plane touched WTC   
   building 7!

   Clearly it is justified that such an investigation be funded by the   
   taxpayers that are also funding the unjustified war in Iraq. If it were to   
   be funded by contributions, yes, I would contribute if I believed it to be a   
   truly independent investigation.
