   You miss the point entirely, nobody had the inclination to defend   
   themselves as they now expect to be protected. They weren't, they are   
   told that they will be, but we know that's impossible. Some of the   
   less pampered did on flight 93, no firearms involved. When you are   
   told to run, hide, avoid, and do not confront a would be attacker,   
   that leaves sit and watch him kill you as another option.   
      
   God bless those lost souls that believed as you do that the Serve and   
   Protect crowd are anything more than a cleanup crew and book keepers   
   of crime. No, I don't advocate everyone carrying a gun, but they   
   should still be allowed that choice, at the very least remove the   
   killing fields from the plans of the whack jobs. Now about the judges   
   and lawyers that have put us in this mess........
