   Several small towns nearby where I am looking... but I'd be about 180   
   miles from the nearest metropolis and a good 50 miles from the nearest   
   real interstate.  Not really 'safe'... but safe-ER.  At least not stuck in the   
   city with the mobs of hungry, thirsty, road warriors.
