   False.  Since the corporate Coup D'Etat placed George W. Bush in office   
   in 2000, ALL consumable energy prices have more than doubled.  It   
   cost me $27 to fill my tank with gasoline in 2001... it now costs $55 and   
   my salary hasn't changed.
