   Well, you don't hear much from me, as I am mostly apolitical, and every   
   group that I subscribe to seems to be all politics, all the time.   
      
   I did not know about alt.war.nuclear, and maybe I should subscribe to that.   
   I was a "prefix-5" in the army (nuclear targeting,) commanded an Honest John   
   battery (A Battery, 1st Battalion, 28th Field Artillery) and a 155mm nuclear   
   capable artillery battalion (1st Battalion, Second Field Artillery.)  After   
   that went to strategic plans, including nuclear.  I'm always hesitant to   
   mention nuclear things, thinking I could inadvertantly slip classified   
   material, but most of what I know is so obsolete as to be no threat to   
   anyone.  Why we had to light off our Honest John rockets with cigarette   
   lighters!  And we liked it that way!
