   I have lived there for almost 10 years.  Tried to get a green card twice.   
   INS 1) does not have a category for Canadians and 2) I was passively denied   
   because my father, an American hadn't filed his US taxes since the early   
   60's.  And I was denied the father thing, wrong years.   
      
   I actually believe the US healthcare is better!  Certainly cheaper than the   
   whopping tax load you are in for when Obama does it.  That is if he hasn't   
   bankrupted the USD before them.  Even the US treasury is in risk of default   
   as people are not renewing T-Bills and the like.   
      
   Seeing the mood change in the US to entitlement over hard work, statism over   
   liberty, corporate greed over christian values of a fair shake.... I decided   
   it I have to live in a statism hole it might as well be Canada wihout the   
   INS issues.  At least here I can own a home here and not worry about being   
   kicked out for some political BS because I am white/Canadian.   
      
   If I was younger and knew spanish, I would move to South America.  North   
   America is now a taxation-enslavement hole that is now unavoidable through   
   years of liberalism squandering and BS.  The debtor generation now is   
   running the economic system into a hole too deap to see light.  Going right   
   paste the event horizon at full speed.   
      
   I figure the Great Government/Bank/Debtor Depression of 2008-20xx is good   
   for about 10 to 15 years.  Maybe sooner if people learn how to pay their   
   debts and bills including the governments.
