   Many have suggested that BTY060030 is Pyramid,   
   as you suggest. It's a little confusing that   
   there's apparently a radio beacon PYD on 415kHz   
   that the DF guys put NW of Groom at   
   37 17 04.68N,115 56 14.83W.   
      
   That PYD beacon doesn't seem like it's   
   in an advantageous spot for use as   
   a navaid, at least not when used   
   in the manner in which we typically   
   hear Dreamland telling planes to   
   approach/depart.   
      
   And just to add to the confusion, there's   
   PIRMID (ZLA) which is just about 5 miles   
   west of RWY 25 at KLAS.
