From: pleasenoemail@someplace.invalid              Have you ever heard sonic booms related to such training ?              At about 11:45 or so I heard two sets of sonic booms.       I know they are sonic because I got a seismic sensor       here and it did not register any significant ground       motion with those booms.              I am now thinking those sonic booms are somehow       related to that circling aircraft and realize       this sort of training has been going on for years       because every now and then I hear those booms       about the same time in the day but the       atmospheric conditions are not right       to reveal the circling aircraft.              I have heard that a skilled fighter pilot       can focus his shock wave on the ground       at specific spots and shatter windows and stuff like that.              Once I saw this fighter plane that looked like it was       moving at stall speed over the town because when       a fighter plane slows down to stall speed it controls       get very mushy and that was exactly how this plane was flying.       I suspected this particular plane was under robotic control       and had no real pilot because of its dangerous characteristics.       It was stupid of the AirForce to fly this way over a       heavy populated town.       There is no room for mistakes when you fly a fighter       at stall speeds. It caught my attention when it       must have been five miles away because it sounded       like a huge vacuum cleaner with a distinct tone that       caught my attention and caused me to go outside and look.       It never ceases to amaze me how aloof the locals are to       strange things in the sky and stuff. They are more interested in       stepping on people who do not meet their silly social expectations       then paying attention to the science and technology going on about them       Sometimes I get the distinct impression the majority of humankind       just want to continue living an animal life.                            "Dave Bethke" |
