Indirectly. It seems to me that the bees crossing our border have
probably lived in Mexico for several generations already, so this is
just another case of Mexicans invading the US. ;-)

We've been invaded by all sorts of species. Asian termites, fire ants,
various birds, European honey bees, Asian clams, zebra mussels, gypsy
moths, nutria, chestnut blight, Russian thistle (tumbleweeds), kudzu,
buffelgrass etc. have all been introduced from elsewhere.

Congress wants to ignore the many problems they cause and grant them
   amnesty.

Buffelgrass comes from Africa and was introduced to Arizona because it
would grow in the arid climate and allow people to raise cattle. It
grew very well. It also burns very well. Unfortunately when it burns,
it destroys native plants which cannot recover.
