   You could see the base chapel, bowling alley,   
   school etc. Ridgecrest/China Lake is the base (public) town.   
      
   The NWC is pretty spread out.   
   N and SE of Ridgecrest.   
   Borders Ft Irwin on the east edge.   
      
   The little pockets of military activity   
   in the SE area of the base look a lot like   
   the stuff around Tolicha Peak and that area.   
   Small installations that look highly specialized   
   for whatever kind of measurements they do at   
   that particular spot.   
      
   Example -

   Root around that neighborhood and you'll see   
   plenty of targets, radomes, strips, pads etc.
