   with family, vacations etc.

   generally looking WNW toward the mountains and alluvial fans   
   west of town.

   Look at the googlemaps street view for that area, and the   
   design/color/style of the houses, as well as the orientation,   
   seem to support all that.   
      
   Jeff Groom? Son or grandson of the original Groom family?
