It must take some special something to just keep
posting away without some response discussions.

I could go on and on about all the things I went
through while trying to get stealth implemented and
I assumed I was the only inventor.

Maybe the worse thing that happened is receipt
of mail from the patent office, addressed to me, but
consisting of an office action on some other guy's
patent, and it scared me because I assumed they
might have sent him my office response.

I have always felt that somebody was negligent
for not requesting a secrecy order on the earliest
   application I filed.
Then I filed a second application in 1981 and
no secrecy order was requested, even though four
Air Force officers accessed the file.

After filing a good application in 1982, it was
promptly placed under secrecy order, which was
a relief just knowing that somebody understood
just how much the technology would mean if
   fully implemented.

I received allowance on all claims after
I abandoned claim one, which was for flat
surfaces, never dreaming they would give
that to Lockheed because it was mentioned
in Paper #11 in May of 1977 and became
available to the public in JAN, 1978, while
the Lockheed Vehicle patent was not filed
until Feb, 1979, more than a year after
Paper #11 became public (although it
is most likely nobody read it).

It is kind of difficult to see how any new
aircraft would have any great secret to hide
now, it seems the F-35 is being tested in
public, and all of the X-planes seem to have
   pictures published.

It seems like the 35 years since I invented
the technology went fast, the F-117 has been
in storage for quite a while, and there are not
   very many F-22.

I read the Ben Rich book daily, and some
of his impressions don't seem to be as scientific
   as they should be.
I guess I will never find out why there are
   so many errors on dates.
