biefeld & brown were the co-inventors of the maglev technology and
patented it together. biefeld was " well " known ( in the 1930s )
for his pictures of large steel " I " beams , suspended high in the
air by two pavement brick sized devices. in the late 40s mid 50s ,
biefeld went ( pretty much underground ) to work for the us
   government / military.
many persistent rumors had his early work done at area51 labs.
that maglev technology exists and is viable is " old news " .
check the web and you will see a large " hobby " interest in
hobby maglev craft with numerous world wide contests to
see who can lift the heaviest payloads, make the largest craft
etc. hobby kits to make your own ( saucer ) maglev craft
are easily found on the web.

naturally the military has had a 55 year head start on the rest of us.
current thinking has the military subcontractor for government
maglev craft in Tehachapi , Ca. ( see the " Tehchapi base "
   site for more info. )

that maglev craft ( saucers, betz balls , etc ) exit is hardly
questioned these days. that the government is hip deep
into them would be obvious. HOWEVER, to make
the ( inexplicable ) quantum jump from maglev technology
to world domination and who knows what conspiracy theories
seems , at the very least, bizarre.

maglev is as maglev does, and pretty much nothing more !
I can hardly wait for the government to introduce those football
field sized wedge shaped maglevs to the general public. what a trip
that will be ! ( I'm trying to get an early look myself )
