Benny can't come to grips with the fact the JFK assassination is of interest
   to a niche special
interest group. Whereas in the days when broadcast TV ruled the world, a
   program had to
draw many millions of viewers, now with cable, streaming, podcast, and social
   media options,
programs are being produced that are directed at a few thousand subscribers.
   Any schmuck
with a webcam can create content. Even someone like Gil.

The NatGeo documentary will likely draw a decent sized audience. It's been
   advertised for
months, so an audience of tens of thousands is likely. Perhaps even six
   figures. In a country of
330 million people, about 10 million more if you count illegal immigrants,
   that's not much of an
audience. The opening episode will be up against Sunday night football game
   which will draw
hundreds of times more viewers. Of course, nothing draws well when it is up
   against the NFL.
