From: jecorbett4@gmail.com              I doubt I will. Just not worth the time or expense of getting a new newsreader.              This group has already been reduced to maybe a dozen regular contributors,       about a half dozen on each side. If we lose half of them which is my guess,       the remaining contributors will be speaking to a very small audience. What is       our most prolific poster, Yellowpanties, going to do when he doesn't have LN       content to delete?              The McAdams group died a sudden death when its sole moderator passed       away taking the keys to the group with him. This one will probably die a slow       death.              I remember once coming across a newsgroup that interested me and I made       a long and thoughtful response to something somebody else had written.       After posting it, I discovered it was the first post made to that group in       seven       years. I had come across a Usenet ghost town. I wouldn't be surprised if that       becomes the fate of this group, not that 99.99+% of the country will give a       shit or even know about it.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
