   Nothing in those questions and answers proves, indicates, or suggests,   
   an "assignment" from Kelly. Gilligan had presumably already been   
   'assigned' by the BBC, and was boning up on background with a top   
   expert - whose job was in part to brief on his subject. There is   
   nothing in the quotes you repeated to suggest, let alone prove,
