   A problem easily solved, I would have thought, by dispensing the   
   methadone on the spot, a dose at a time, which is what my local chemist   
   does.   
      
   Why, I wonder, would the junkie want to sell his methadone?   Presumably   
   he'll only use the proceeds to buy more drugs.   If it's that he prefers   
   heroin to methadone, then you can solve that problem by giving him   
   heroin in the first place.
