I disagree with your claim that Galloway is spooked up. The person spooked
up in this affair is the idiot 'reporter' who made the original false cliams
in his report for the Telegraph. A report full of lies that Galloway
   successfully sued for.

As for it being a distraction - whoi would this be distracting? Those in the
USA or UK or both? The Galloway affair didn't really get a huge amount of
attention the first time around in the US and I doubt it will this time
   around.

   > You know, a bit like his show-buddy Chris Hitchens during Lewinskygate?

The recent debate between Hitchens and Galloway was excellent. I don't
understand the how they could be called show-buddies. The debate would have
been of interest to a minority.

   > If I'm right, we'll be hearing a lot more of him in the next few days.

Of course we will. Once again a smear campaign has been launched against
Galloway. Nothing but allegations, no evidence, except testimony from a man
who recently stood in the dock alongside Saddam Hussein. Yes, the Americans
are using the word of Tariq Aziz who faces charges of genocide as evidence
of Galloway's wrong-doing. The americans are licking their wounds after
Galloway gave them a bloody nose on May 17 and I hope he batters them again
in the rematch. This witch hunt is ridiculous, the biased reporting against
Galloway (particuarly on BBC but also on Channel 4 (UK) and I presume
   others).
