   In what sense, other than the purely symbolic, might the Eiffel Tower or   
   the Champs Elysées be considered *important* sites for any potential   
   French insurgent to occupy?   
      
   Were I in charge of riot control I'd be absolutely *delighted* if all   
   the insurgents gathered in both those areas so I could deal with them   
   without too much difficulty.   But, then, I'm not French.
