   How are the US bases in the UK doing for diesel at the moment? Any   
   disruption to their supply, and the capabilityies based thereon?   
      
   And out of interest, why isn't the UK army involved in dealing with this   
   emergency? Is it policy to let the oil companies handle the response? Or   
   is the army too tied down in the current wars? Hell, they don't even   
   seem to have tried to reap a PR dividend! (Or maybe they have, and I   
   haven't noticed it?)
