Colourful turns of phrase (although 'spun' together with 'garnished'
surely involves the mixing of metaphors, but never mind). But now look
   what you say next:

   >What would you be posting the day after another major terrorist
   >atrocity on American soil?

What, committed by the US government or a faction with major influence
over it? Or committed by one of its rivals for the spoils?

I'll tell you what the US government (and for that matter any other
government) would be doing. They'd be propagandising.

What would you have done, the day after the Reichstag fire? Stuck up
notices condemning as 'enemies of the people' everyone who criticised
the poor government? That's practically what you just did.

Maybe going away and thinking about stuff a bit would do you some good.

The rulers do NOT uphold the general interest, not ever, and regardless
of how many people they, or other capitalist factions, slaughter in the
   street.

Their war effort = mass murder.
Their statements = whatever suits their purposes.

Is that really so difficult to understand?

Disagree? OK, so please assume for a moment that what I say is true. Now
tell me how you'd manage to REALISE it was true, given where your head's
currently at. How would you know if a government, for example, served a
small group of rulers, and pretended to its mind-befuddled 'masses' that
it 'served the people'? How would you know if it carried out terror
attacks on its 'own' territory, and blamed them in its own mass media on
another party, so as to 'justify' its war effort and the ramping up of
fascist oppression? How would you know?
