According to "banana" this list includes ONLY intelligence officers, not
those with other jobs. According to the BBC and other media organisation
Lord Ashdown has been very busy for decades. He has held various jobs, so
why does "banana" say that this list only includes intelligence officers,
   not those with other jobs?

He died in 2001, aged 58. Does this mean that MI6 employs dead people? Or
does it mean that this list is not as accurate as "banana" wants us to
   believe it is?

Only two examples of inaccuracies. Easily found inaccuracies, I may add.
What if one looks closer into the lives of the other people mentioned? I get
the impression that someone somewhere compiled a list of people who work or
worked for the British Foreign Office and/or affiliated organisations. Just
looking in the phonebook and coming up with a list, I mean. I could be
wrong, but why should I believe that this list is genuine?
