   >o dear you had to get personal did'nt you. Just because someone with
   >more clinical knowledge and experience can challenge your paranoid
   >rantings

Sorry Ginfiz, your self-image may get you through your work day, but it
   doesn't cut any ice here.

Does the word 'clinical' have great meaning for you?

   >and perhaps give a slightly more balanced overview

Balanced overview indeed - what idiot talk. Balanced between what and
   what? Over what?

   >of a
   >situation and provide information backup.

Why not try talking without coming out with bureaucratic crap-speak!

   >Actually ,Health and safety
   >reps do not need to be Unionised. I'm not.

Still a bosses' person, whether unionised or not.

   >neither do I "sell the
   >company line"

   You just were.

   >far from it in fact I am always challenging it.

   Bollocks.

   >I have 18
   >years clinical experience

Well firstly it's a stupid thing to say, and secondly it's irrelevant to
whether you're able to form a proper opinion on whether or not the
authorities are telling the truth when they say that using mobile phones
endangers medical equipment. You are obviously currently completely
unable to form such an opinion. All you can do is spout the company line
and back it up with shit-talk.

   >and 10 as a safety rep in the NHS and you
   >could'nt drag me kicking and screaming into a clerical or management
   >post where I might have to lose my integrity, judgement and possibly my
   >honesty.

You seem to have lost your dignity already.

   >Personally I am of the view that culling at least 70% of the
   >management and clerical posts would sure as hell free up a lot of
   >funding.

True enough. So would getting rid of the medical 'profession' entirely,
and most of the useless or harmful treatments that they administer.

   >I work in the front lines (not a nurse i might add)

'Front line'? I thought that was where hospital porters worked - who, I
might add, have generally far more dignity than almost everyone who's
above them in the pecking order.

   >and
   >experience on a daily basis the various injustices, physical and VERBAL
   >abuse,lack of equipment,funding

What do you mean 'lack of funding'? Do you have any idea how much is
spent on medics' travel and hotel costs for starters?

If you want a real critique of capitalist 'healthcare', you really have
to think in very different terms from those of a 'lack of funding' -
which are the exact terms that bureaucrats are always spouting.

   >and staffing whilst trying to provide a
   >service to our patients.

'Lack of staffing'? What do you want - one in three of the population
working to handle the sicknesses of the other two in three?

   >Having said all that I am tired of coming home
   >after a long shift to switch on the news and hear the media
   >abuse, undermining everything I've just achieved at work. so needless to
   >say I am not going to put up with it on line either so this is my last
   >reply and as far as i am concerned banana, you can shove
   >it........Quote: "always remember to handle with care, the next life
   >saved could be yours" -seen on a box carrying medical equipt.....;)

What's that - the famous 'gallows humour'?
