XPost: uk.politics.misc, alt.politics.british       From: banana@REMOVE_THIS.borve.demon.co.uk              Everything's taped nowadays.              What dirt has Ian Blair got on Attorney General 'Lord' Goldsmith and       'Lord' Chancellor 'Lord' Falconer?              ISTM that:              - Ian Blair was told to say XYZ with regard to the murder of        Jean-Charles de Menezes;       - he did it;       - he's now being thrown to the wolves;       - in response, he threatened certain interests; and       - those interests are now 'getting their retaliation in first',        by putting out a ridiculous story saying 'Ooh - look at him - he        taped calls'.              Well he would wouldn't he? The issue is what was said in those calls by       the parties who were on the phone to each other.              Will he hit back?              Apparently he's on 'holiday' today. All pre-planned apparently. Just       like this bike I'm riding, as I type this. He sounds as though he's in a       position of 'you do what you're told, or you're Kellied'.              Interesting that Tessa Jowell stayed with 'Lord' Falconer recently.       Falconer's 'special adviser' is Philip Bassett, husband of 'Baroness'       Symonds, who helped David Mills try to sell weapons to Iran.              Small world.              Philip Bassett links to places like the Ditchley Foundation 'think tank'       and the Fabian Society.              People who know more than they're saying keep mentioning 7/7 in relation       to the 'Ian Blair taped calls' story.              What might they be getting at?              --       banana "The thing I hate about you, Rowntree, is the way you        give Coca-Cola to your scum, and your best teddy-bear to        Oxfam, and expect us to lick your frigid fingers for the        rest of your frigid life."
