   Is it true that the parties GAINING the most seats in yesterday's local   
   elections in England were (in order of number of seats gained):   
      
   1) the Tories   
   2) the BNP   
   3) the Greens   
   4) the Liberal Democrats   
      
   ?   
      
   I would be interested if someone could post reliable figures for the   
   numbers of seats gained. Either 'ongoing' or once all the results are   
   in.   
      
   What the BBC are currently reporting does not tally with what is   
   reported in various newspapers:
