That's what I want, but you're not trying that hard.

   >And you conclude all this from the fact that Tenet resigned?

   Nope.

It was in 1998, during the Wye River talks, that Tenet is said to have
threatened to resign if Pollard was released. Pollard was not released
   and Tenet did not resign.

In 2004, Tenet did resign. Supposedly for 'personal reasons'. I doubt
that his resignation was anything to do with any plan to release
Pollard, for the simple reason that Pollard was not released and is
   still in jail.

Porter Goss, a speculator in Florida real estate, took over from Tenet,
and has now resigned, for 'unexplained' reasons.

I have not 'concluded' that Pollard will be released before 2008. I have
merely publicly 'wondered' whether the new CIA chief will release him.

Tying US foreign policy even closer to Israeli policy than it is already
tied - to the point of carrying out further assaults on third countries,
perhaps to the point of using nuclear weapons and beyond (perhaps in
Russia or China, or indeed in the US itself, which means WW3) - is being
pushed extremely strongly. This effort is bound up with a widespread
fascist clampdown and reorganisation in a number of fields (banking,
travel, journalism, academia, etc.) (To the mug market, all of this is
being 'justified' in terms of '911' and 'terrorism' and all that shit,
which suggests an obvious first attempt at an answer to the question
   'who did it?')

...It's also meeting at least some resistance from a small number of
academics, former spooks, retired military figures etc., and reason
suggests also from certain interests within CIA and indeed even the
serving military. E.g. despite the pro-Zionist indoctrination of the US
officer corps, still (at the moment) some of them are occasionally bound
to phrase a question such as 'why should the US fight Israel's wars for
   it', right?

So when Goss resigns, yes I do suppose that he - and others in the CIA -
may have opposed the White House/Pentagon plans to some, probably very
limited extent. And I say 'probably very limited', because when a
criminal gang is doing what the currently ruling one is doing, I should
have thought the course of action open to armed-forces and intelligence
officers who genuinely oppose them, is obvious (overthrow the
motherf***ers in a military coup) and it hasn't happened...

But the push is so strong, and so in-your-face, that no, I wouldn't be
surprised if Pollard is released long before 2008.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Lawrence Franklin gets released too, or
if Steve Rosen and Keith Weissman get let off... Which, one can
speculate, may possibly (?) have something to do with why Goss has
   resigned.
