From: steuart@btinternet.com               Sunday, 4th Jun 2006       EXCLUSIVE:Leaked official report              Diana was not engaged to Dodi              By Lucy Panton and Clive Goodman              PRINCESS Diana was NOT engaged to Al Fayed's son Dodi when she died-and was       NOT carrying his child, the News of the World can reveal.              In the £2million official report into the Paris crash-headed by former Met       boss Lord Stevens-the jeweller who claimed Harrods heir Dodi had bought an       engagement ring for Diana now confesses it didn't exist.              And new forensic techniques which show the exact hormone levels in the       princess's blood have proved once and for all that she was not having a       baby.              The bombshell dossier will blow apart nine years of conspiracy       theories-fuelled by Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed.              He claimed Diana, 36, was pregnant, engaged to his son and was assassinated       by spy chiefs to prevent her giving birth to a half-Muslim child.              Lord Stevens's Operation Paget report-which will be presented to the formal       inquest into her death later this year-also proves:              Al Fayed DIDN'T receive Diana's 'last words'.              The crash happened because the limo was going too FAST with a drunk, Henri       Paul, at the wheel.              MI6 and MI5 files show NO evidence they were involved in Diana's death, and              Both Diana and Dodi would have SURVIVED had they worn seatbelts.              "These aren't opinions, conjecture, theories or suggestions. They're       facts-full and final," said one source close to the investigation. The       biggest blow to Al Fayed is the evidence of Alberto Repossi-the French       jeweller he produced to claim that Dodi had bought Diana an engagement ring       the morning before their deaths. Repossi even produced a receipt to back Al       Fayed's claim. Now, in a detailed statement, he admits there was no ring.              "He was re-interviewed and it became clear very quickly that there was no       ring and no evidence of any engagement," said one senior source.              Whether Diana was pregnant has, until now, been impossible to determine.       Embalming fluid used on her body meant any pregnancy test would always come       back positive.              Mystery                            But new forensic techniques applied to tissue and blood samples reveal her       exact hormone levels. "The plain fact is she wasn't pregnant," said one       source.              Another key conspiracy claim is Al Fayed received Diana's last words from a       nurse at the hospital where she died. But Al Fayed's former bodyguard Kez       Wingfield said the tycoon didn't set foot inside the hospital. The mystery       nurse cannot be found. Myth-makers also claimed driver Henri Paul was a spy       working with an assassination squad and post-mortem results were tampered       with to back an official line that he was drunk.              New toxicology deep tissue tests in the Paget dossier prove Paul WAS over       the drink-drive limit. The report finds he was in the pay of the French       Secret Service, but there was NO conspiracy.              Both MI5 and MI6 also opened up their files for the investigation. They       showed no evidence of any plot-and the assassination claim is dismissed.              A hi-tech reconstruction of the crash in the dossier shows that the Mercedes       was going too fast-but crucially adds that seatbelts would have saved them.              "There was no evidence belts were tampered with-they hadn't been deployed,"       said a source. "If they'd worn them they could still be here today."              The only remaining question is, where was Henri Paul in the three hours       before the crash? He vanished from the Ritz at 9pm and was not seen again       until midnight. The Paget team intend to continue the investigation until       they are able to answer that riddle.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
