Go to the pub when England plays and see for yourself that many of the women
you don't know like football. (The staunchest supporter down the local pub
is very much a woman, but, before Neil gets clever, she is not an UK
   citizen.)

Most football watching men I know wouldn't like it when their
wives/girlfriends started sexual acts during a match. Afterwards, alright,
in the interval, alright, but not during the match. I will conduct a poll to
back this up -:) (During the interval would be difficult, since millions of
men watch matches in the pub or, even better, in the stadiums!)

Your friend has an outdated and even degrading view on women and their
sexual capabilities, to say the least. No wonder you aligned yourself with
   her.

In my post you refer to, I said most people in the UK like football and TV.
You snipped "TV" and focused on "football'. It may be true that the number
of people in the UK who like football is lower than my usage of the word
"most" suggests, but it is certainly true that most people in the UK like
TV. Most UK households have at least one TV set. People like Ann Widdecombe
and the Borvites don't, but they belong to a tiny minority. Well, they live
in free country, they don't have to have a TV. You want to ban TV, and, I
presume, football too. "Thinking for yourself?" More like totalirism in my
   book.

   Next match is on!
