   Yes there were.

   See Paget,

"Hubert Pourceau was a member of the Bureau Central des Accidents, BCA. At
around 8am, as per standard French practice, he attended the scene to
confirm the findings made during the night by his BCA colleagues and amend
the plan accordingly with anything that may have been missed and that was
now visible in the daylight. On his arrival there, he noticed that cleaning
services were present and that there was still some oil on the westbound
carriageway where the Mercedes had come to a halt. He cannot comment on
whether that carriageway had been re-opened earlier, before 8am, but he felt
   it was unlikely."(Page 603)

What did the original poster say,

"Can anybody explain to me the lack of any visible fluids from the
car wreck in the tunnel? I have seen many pictures of the car after the
crash and have yet to see any leaking fluid or signs of oil etc."

   'Visible' here refers to photographs.

No skid marks according to the
   > report.

Not skid marks but yaw marks yes.

Of course Stevens team would have got a drawing of the
   > skidmarks from the French dossier but the report states no skid marks.

That's because the diagrams from the French investigation(shown in the
Conspiracy Files and Martyn Gregory's documentary) show yaw marks.

   > Nothing much stated about the forensics carried out on on the pillar
   > either, although the kerb is mentioned forensically in the report. Do
   > you think that car spun off once after that impact?

There are various photo's of the wrecked vehicle. There are various photo's
of people standing around the wrecked vehicle. The damage was extensive
caused by an impact at high speed. Vehicles can not run without brake
fluid, oil, water, gasoline et al. It would be amazing if none of this
leaked as a result of the accident therefore, they were present at the
   scene.
