   He wasn't a life line, he was a employee. The Fayeds treat their staff in a,   
   to put it mildly, outdated way. In the eyes of Fayed Jr., and probably also   
   in the eyes of Princess Diana, he was a mere servant. A person who one gives   
   orders, but not someone in whom one has any real interest. Up stairs, down   
   stairs, 19th century!
