   Really?  Well, there are many different beliefs with in Buddhism.   
   Life itself is considered a deceptive illusion in some schools of   
   Buddhism, so anything could be called a deceptive illusion from that   
   perspective.   
      
   As Buddha said "put no head above your own," meaning that one's only   
   true guru is the Self (the Buddha nature).

   You might want to research The Tibetan Book of the Dead, Reiki, Chi,
