   year I might find your argument credible -- but there is ample evidence   
   that he very aggressively sought treatment and spent time trying to   
   bring her back for YEARS -- it is insane to think a man should remain   
   tied to someone incapable of any human relationship at all for over a   
   decade and that it is somehow negligent to find a new relationship
