   "Screw up" is a subjuctive judgement of God.  Since we can not see the   
   whole picture and we do not know all the facts, this judgement maybe   
   premature.  Although hard at the time, NDE's often make a great   
   difference in people's life for the positive.  Perhaps they were what   
   that person needed.

   Yes, but the NDE is often the deepest, most profound experience in a   
   person's life.  You have to trust your own experience, insight, and   
   intuition.  In the end, that's all you really have anyway.

   You do have free will, and earth existence is only pathetic if you   
   view is as pathetic.  View it has a miracle and it becomes so.   
      
   Often the insight is that in reality You, your real Self,  is part of   
   the ultimate reality, you are at One with All that is right now.  "The   
   kingdom of God is at hand".  It is now.  Your separateness is the   
   illusion and you can transform yourself by this realization.  You then   
   grow by loosing ego, growing in compassion, and humbly experiencing a   
   Oneness with God and All that is.
