   NO!!! It is not the fault of the American people it is because of the   
   american MEDIA. The media is failing in its responsibility to the american   
   public, presenting one-sided and biased viewpoints and never revealing the   
   truth behind events. The media doesnt have to SAY that Iraq was behind 9/11   
   directly but it is strongly implied, not least by comments to the effect   
   made by George Bush prior to the invasion, this is the only viewpoint that   
   much of the American public is ever exposed to, so you cant blame them for   
   believing it. The Bush administration simply would not be able to do half   
   the stuff they do if the media portrayed all sides of the issue. The fact   
   that a republican leader came to power after a blatantly rigged election and   
   has since invaded 2 completely innocent countries, at the cost of many   
   thousands of lives, all in the name of a supposed 'terrorist' attack. Of   
   course the media never reveals this side of the story
