   Well, the technique for such a journey is described in a book this guy   
   wrote with another practitioner, called "Shamanism and the Esoteric   
   Tradition" by Angelique Cook Wilcox and G.A. Hawk. But this kind of   
   journeying isn't something I'd recommend trying without working your   
   way up to it via the various shamanic exercises that come before you   
   get to the part about journeying to the land of the dead (which   
   is really the sort of *vestibule* of Death -- after the body dies but   
   before the soul goes into the light to be remade, or whatever), to see   
   if this method of spiritual exploration suits you or not.
