   I think they're too greedy and lazy to do it, not this time around; it   
   takes backup from a fully professional an cynically self-interested   
   army to pull this off, and we don't have that -- yet (though they're   
   trying to make it happen).  Also it's a lot tougher with an absolutely   
   huge country like the US than with, say, Chile.  We might yet get out   
   of these thugs' clutches, but not in one piece, and it's going to take   
   my grandkids' whole lives to mend the damage the Bush Gang has done.

   I've heard that much of our recent climate problems is linked to a   
   renewed activity in volcanoes on the ocean floor, which affects the   
   temperature and movement of air currents over the water, and we've   
   certainly seen a good deal of earthquake news lately from various   
   hot-spots.  It could be that Earth is fixing to shrug her shoulders   
   and shake us down to size sometime soon.  That's what I think.
