   To me, this shows that the attachment to the "small self", the limited   
   individuality and personality, is so powerful that people would rather   
   retain it in eternal hell than relinquish it.   
      
   In truth, I think that our previous personalities aren't lost at all. I   
   think we are continually experiencing and expressing them, we're just not   
   aware of where they come from. For example, I feel that I was once a writer.   
   When I write well, I am expressing that aspect of my personality--I am   
   continuing to be that writer. It's natural. You keep your mind throughout   
   all your incarnations. However, your mind is much more than your one limited   
   personality in this particular incarnation.
