One was during surgery, one from an accidental overdose, one from an
intentional overdose. I think one of the quickest tipoffs is that you still
have certain senses...like the sense of smell, or taste, or touch (physical
objects). It's difficult for me to describe, but I know they were different
from dreams. It's like getting on a bus, falling asleep, waking up
someplace you're not familiar with, and getting off the bus. It's real, but
has a surreal "sense" to it. Perhaps you've taken a nap and awaken during
twilight and had difficulty distinguishing if it's day turning night or
night turning day? You feel like you're in some kind of time warp or
   bubble.

As far as my dreamwalking goes, There were probably a dozen and a half
people around the world who have verified my dream travels. When I
dreamwalk, I generally go as a seagull. They had seen an "oddly appearing"
seagull. I would also describe their environment...sometimes down to being
within their residence and sometimes describing objects within their
residence or activities. These have more of a dreamlike "sense" to them.
Like being inside an animated picture with the ability to have a certain
amount of control over my own actions.
